Rsv? Sorry its long. Need help tho

I dont know where to post this. Im hopping someone can help. It may sound dumb but im not a nurse so i dont know. My son is 4 1/2. And sick. Has been for over a week. Its the season for croop and rsv. I just looked up symptoms of rsv and worried hes got the symptoms. Can children his age get rsv? No need to be rude for this cause i dont know and im worried. My baby is sick and im not sure how to make him feel better. I do plan on taking him to the er but im just curious. Its 5 am so i cant call my mom or anyone to ask. Hes been coughing. He has a hard time catching his breath after coughing. Ive kept him on cold meds so im not sure if hes had a fever. There have been times he has felt warm tho. Hes stuffy and his nose has been running. Sometimes when he coughs it sounds lime wheezing. And he just woke me up bout 30 mins ago in tears due to his ear hurting which i guarantee he has an ear infection. I thought it was just a cold. But now i think it might be more.
