So we recently remodeled our house - new kitchen, painted all the rooms, new furniture, new bathrooms, etc. So since then, I have stated, multiple times to my so that the kids can not have food in their rooms (they can't clean up after themselves so they haven't proved to me that they earn that privilege) and yet our middle son ALWAYS has food downstairs in his room. I've told him myself multiple times and he still does it. So I tell my so and he's like I'll talk to him yet here we are, months later still having this discussion. I just want the house to stay neat and clean. Is that too much to ask?
