Midwife wont do a thing!

Frustrated seeing all these membrane sweeps and cervical checks and inductions. My midwife won't even check to see if I'm dialted. I'm due on March 1st, so only a few days to go. She also told me that they won't induce me until I am 2 weeks overdue...which seems like forever away. Anyone elses provider doing this? I understand baby will come when ready, but can't you see if I'm at least dialated?!
