Bleeding after Sex 😳

Ok so my hubby is a truck driver and he's away from home for about a week and then home for 3 days in between..so today was his first day back home after being gone for a week and we had sex for the first time since finding out I was pregnant which has been like 2 1/2 weeks (I was too scared to do it after I found out). But after about 5 minutes he noticed blood and I instantly started crying I was super scared and he sat there and held me while searching google for comforting news to tell me about this bleeding. This is my first pregnancy. I'm 2 months and 3 days. Is bleeding after sex something to worry about? He says I shouldn't be stressing because that can cause complications. HELP! Thanks
