Trying to Conceive

Me and my husband have been TTC for the past 2 months with no luck and I was making sure it was on my time of ovulation. Still no luck. I did the same this month, was suppose to have started my period yesterday but nothing, and the same today nothing not even spotting. I'm still getting the backache and mild cramps, but no bleeding what so ever. What do you ladies think should I take a test or just want it out another day or so. Minds you my period is never late or irregular.
