How to select the best breast pump???

Okay so I'm a first time Mother and I really want to breastfeed but I'm being overwhelmed when it comes to selecting the right breast pump. How do you pick the right breast pump? I'm asking because these things are cheap and I want to make sure I'm getting the right one I just don't know how. Can someone please help me out because I'm due in a couple months and I want to make sure I have everything ready so when I get started feeding I don't have to worry about the little stuff like a pump.

I agree, the medela double electric pump was what I used and it worked great! If you have insurance check and see if it's covered because I got mine free from my insurance I had through my work. I also had the manual medela hand pump but you get so much more milk with the electric one.

I exclusively pumped 7 times a day for 15 months and I used this pump. It wad great. I never had any issues.

My favorite is medela. I used a different one a nicu let me borrow and it hurt sooooo bad that I couldn't pump as often and it caused my supply to reduce. You can find new medela ones on Amazon for around $130...I know there are cheaper ones but I think this is the best one personally.

Check to see what your insurance covers--many cover an electric one.

I'm a fan of medela pumps. If you think you'll be pumping more than once a day invest in a double pump. I only pump once a day and use a single and that's fine for me

Medela is amazing. I started with an Ameda Purely Yours and the motor died in 3 months. It also hurt every time I pumped. Medela was amazing

I work at motherhood maternity. We have Medella and simple wishes brand at my store. Woman look at reviews for both and choose. I've sold more simple wishes but it depends on the feeling of it to you. Everyone's different. I would call your closest maternity store and see what they have and go from there.😊
