If Menstrual Cups were all we used, would tampons be gross?

Taylor
Think about it.
Tampons were created in the fifth Century by Egyptian women, way before diseases, viruses, chemicals or waste were even a thought.  Even though then, all a tampon ever was, was a peice of softened papyrus. Though like everything else, with time, inventions grow to bigger and better ideas.
Now, in 2016 women can be hospitalized or even die from tampons. With the amount of poisons in each tampon to bleach the cotton let alone all the bacteria they hold, we should be terrified to put that into our bodies. Not to mention the waste they create ! Here's this food for though, there are roughly 3 billion women on this earth that use approximently 9,000 tampons in an average menstral life cycle (give or take a few I'm sure) if you add that up, it's more than a trillion. Thats an alarming thought.
But! What if tampons were banned? What if all we could use were menstral cups, would you be grossed out?
-I've been using a menstral cup for 3 years and I will never look back. Sometimes it's annoying but I never run out and I never forget it and I can keep it in for 12 hours. Plus, cramps subside and I don't get that
😳 GOTTA GO face when you know you have to change your tampon.
