Pregnant?

(F, 17) Hi, I'm recently new to sex and my period was supposed to come but it didn't. I'm 7 days late and My uterus has been hurting since my first day of no period. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. My uterus is back to normal after two days but I'm very gassy and cramping. I have been stressing because of the thought of being pregnant and I've had a lot of testing this week. An older friend told me when you first have sex it can mess with your cycle schedule.

You may want to retest in a few days. Lots of things besides sex can throw off your menstrual cycle.. Like stress.. If it still doesn't come, then u may want to get a blood test to see if you are or aren't pregnant.

When k started having sex my period was much later and I was freaking out. Then I did a bunch of research and it is normal for it to get off up to two weeks because of the new act.

Did you use any contraception? Did semen enter your body? If not to the second thing its probably just stress. Stressing out and worrying will definitely prolong your period. So just try to chill out (I know thats like really hard) maybe tell yourself "The test said negative." But all your symptoms could possibly be PMS. I'm sure every little thing that changes with your body makes you think, "Oh my god, I'm pregnant!" But that's probably just your brain getting a little too confident. It could be anything but most likely pms. But, if you were without any form of birth control and he did orgasm inside of you than you should take several more pregnancy tests at least 5 days after the day you actually had sex. If it hasn't been over three days you can take the morning after pill, Plan B One Step, (this isn't abortion) They're kind of expensive though like around $40 to $50. You also have other options of course,  adoption, abortion, or having the baby if you do become pregnant. It won't be all bad. But you probably aren't pregnant if the test said negative. Just take a few more of those. Good luck! :)
