Last night at a family dinner for my hubbys grandpa (in attendance were his grandparents, parents, and my parents) we ended up telling them (his parents, everyone else knew) that we are doing <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">iui</a>. His dad had questions, his mom was silent the rest of the dinner. We hardly ever see or talk to his parents, which was why we hadnt told them before this. His mom works 5 minutes from our house, and she has never once made an effort to even talk to us regularly, so i didnt feel the need to tell them. On top of that, when we got married, she told us we had to wait 5 years before having kids. (I honestly believe its cuz she doesnt want to be a grandma yet. ) its only been 3 years and weve been trying the whole time.

Anyways, after dinner hubbys dad texted him and asked why we hadnt told his mom before tonight.

Part of me feels bad, it wasnt our intention to hurt her feelings, but the woman has spent most of her life spending as little time with her son as possible.

The other part of me is annoyed that they making this about her. Its my body that has to put up with all of these hormones.
