Why am I still getting negative test?

Question

I've been trying to conceive baby number 2 . After  ovulation I've just been feeling pregnant I also take prenatal vitamins to help . All the signs I've had makes me think this might be it but the tests I've been taking have been negative . Period is due on the 4th is it too soon to test ?

I know the feeling my AF is supposed to start tomorrow but unlike every other time I'm not having any early symptoms of it coming. However my nipples hurt so bad and have for about a week now. And at night my back hurts so bad. I took a test this morning cuz I'm so impatient and I got a negative so I'm gna wait for af and go from there. I rly hope I get a baby this time, I'm so tired of trying and failing :( I hope you get your baby as well it's a magical feeling :) my first was way unexpected but it was still breath taking and any woman who wants to be a mom deserves to have that feeling :) with my first I didn't have any symptoms I went to the Dr for a head cold came out 10 weeks pregnant lol

Alot of test say 5 days sooner than missed period but no most women don't get a positive on any test till about 6 weeks. :/ I'm impatient too
