Wearing makeup to scheduled c-section?

I am scheduled for my csection on Wednesday and I was wondering if any other moms were planning on wearing makeup at theirs? I am not thinking of going crazing- maybe some bb cream, eyebrows, blush... Mascara? Even though I'm pretty sure I'm going to cry so not sure about that last one 😊 Thoughts?

Do whatever is going to make you feel beautiful. I was a surgical tech in c sections. Make up is fine. Even nail polish is fine. The only thing nail polish does is possibly interfere with the oxygen saturation light that they put on your finger. But it's really not that big of a deal. People have surgery with full on acrylic or gel nails all the time without issue. Go to your c section happy, comfortable, and confident. This is your day!!

I am going in for my c-section tomorrow and I will be wearing some bare minerals and mascara and I am also using some product in my hair to help my waves! Last time I had a scheduled I didn't wear any and I look horrible in my pics! So vein i know...but...why not, my paper work this time says nothing about not wearing makeup!

I'm having a section on the 18th and am going to wear some . Probably blush,lipgloss and some mascara.😊I'm sure there will be pics and I don't want to look to awful. Lol

My hospital said no makeup. I never leave the house without makeup so I'm really debating whether or not to just wear it anyway. I asked a nurse on the phone and she kind of laughed and said I won't want it running down my face. If that's the only reason I'm just going to wear foundation and waterproof mascara...  I don't want to look horrible in pictures when I first meet my baby.

It's a surgery and when you have surgery you aren't allowed to wear makeup. But maybe they make exceptions for a cesarean? Idk like I said it's a surgery so they might not let you.

I just wore some foundation and mascara. The instructions just said no jewelry or body lotion but makeup on face was ok.
