Running

So last summer I prided myself for running up to 25-30 miles per week. I ended the summer and fall by tallying up close to 350 miles. I could run a 10k with ease. I ran in the first 8 weeks of pregnancy. Well I ended up taking a break from it because I tripped over a tree root and on that same run my heart rate seemed to have skyrocketed in the first mile even though I was conditioned for running. It made me a little scared (I was super cautious because I had a miscarriage early last year). I haven't ran since late November. Do you think I'd be able to pick it up again? Baby is perfectly healthy right now, I'm 23 weeks, it's been a crappy winter for cross country skiing, and I'm dying to get exercise again. Walking isn't cutting it for me. I'll ask my doctor next week when I go, just curious about your thoughts. I plan on starting slow with 1-2 miles.
