How do you get your news?
I'm hoping "Spotlight" will generate renewed interest in newspapers, especially the small, local publications. I've been a newspaper reporter for the last 12 years, so I may be biased, lol.
But I think we do a pretty good job for having stuff a small staff. We work hard to produce thoughtful, informative, accurate and unbiased articles.
I think some people tend to lump all media outlets into one group, which is unfortunate. I've been accused of fabricating information, and purposely trying to make peolpe look bad, and I think that attitude comes from people following too much mainstream media and/or tabloid-type news.
Support your local newspaper! We're still here and we're not going away, despite what some people believe.
