cheating Cheater...

So I hate this. I hate it so much and I am disappointed in myself more than ever before. My guy friend and I had sex a couple years ago, come to find out he had a gf the whole time. We parted ways and I cut him off. A few months ago we started becoming friends again, he's still with his gf. Recently we had sex. This time I knew he had a gf. I am so utterly disgusted with myself. I don't know where to go from here. I already told him it was a mistake and is never happening again. I'm not planning on talking to him again.. There is a strong connection between us but it is all just so wrong. Has anyone been in a similar situation?
