Our baby girl joined us 6 days early! After 15 hours of labor and one intense hour of pushing she came into the world at 4:08pm. We had an incredible team of midwives and an amazing home birth in the birthing tub. It couldn't have gone any better! Well, one thing...she decided to present herself "sunny side up". We didn't know until she came out. I'm glad I didn't know as I think it would have messed with my head and my confidence that I could birth my baby at home with no interventions. I guess it's quite rare to deliver vaginally and without medication for that type of presentation. I'm feeling quite strong and empowered!
