Experience with ECV (version) ?

Question

Ftm at my last doctors appointment at almost 36 weeks i was told my baby was breech. After researching a bunch I decided to go ahead and schedule a version because i really really do not want a c section. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with having an ecv done and how it was for you and what i could expect. Thank you !

I don't know if you've already had the baby,but my 2nd child turned to breech at 37 weeks. We found out she was breech on her due date and decided to try the ECV before agreeing to a c-section. Got to the hospital at 6 AM, and at 8 AM this doctor comes in who is 6.5' tall and has hands the size of dinner plates. He had to try 5 times to turn the baby and was about to give up when she finally turned. He actually had to take a break between tries because he was sweating! It was really painful, but still I preferred it to a c-section. After that we stayed for induction because we didn't want to take the chance of our baby turning back to breech. Our little girl was born without incident at 7 PM that same day.
