Should I try clomid alone or go straight to clomid + IUI? Supplements to help?
I just got back from my doc appointment today and he told me my symptoms and bloodwork suggest I have PCOS. My bloodwork shows I didn't ovulate/low progesterone. I have slightly irregular cycles 26-33 days but I do get a period every month.
Opks show I ovulate every month CD17-CD20, but I'm guessing they're producing a false positive?
I am free to start clomid my next cycle and asked about <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>.
Do you ladies think I should try clomid a few rounds and then if that doesn't work, schedule an <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>?
I don't think I have the worst case of PCOS since my cycles aren't extremely long, I get a period every month, and my bloodwork leading up to ovulation looked normal. He also said testosterone was within normal range although I do get a few chin hairs every month. I have only had about two cycles where it felt like a cyst may have ruptured (sharp pain in ovary that lasted about half an hour each time). I had one miscarriage exactly a year ago so I was able to conceive.
Also, are there any Vitamins/supplements/diet that could help minimize PCOS? I don't know a whole lot about it, but if I know myself, I will become obsessed with researching everything.
