Crazy night. Abnormal Quad screening and gender reveal
I had my 16 week appt last week and had a quad screen blood test done. My Dr. called me this afternoon to tell me the results came back abnormal and I immediately panicked. She asked me to immediately come in for another ultrasound to take measurements of the spine and make sure everything looked alright. Luckily, they said everything looked normal and healthy and that it was a false positive. On the plus side we got to see updated pictures and find out early that We are having a healthy baby boy!! Anyone else have a similar experience with a false positive or need to go for further testing? Everything was such a blur and I need to find out when I go back if there are any other follow up tests that I will need.
