I had been on birth control since I was in high school, a year later of being on the depo, I got off of it because I saw no purpose of being on BC if I wasn't being sexually active. A year after that when I was 17, I felt a really bad pain (I had barley started to get my period back), heading to the ER where I discovered I had an ovarian cyst. Doctors told me I needed to be back on BC to avoid the cyst. I get on the implamon, I hated it my period was so irregular... I had it taken out not even a year later, I was always spotting!!!
