How old is too old?

Does it matter?  My friend gave me this analogy of divide your age by 2 and add 7 and that gives you the youngest which would be 20 and the oldest would be 40 for me. As I am 27. Silly I know...

I've always dated men around my age but they are so so immature! I met a 35 year old. He is in process of divorce and has a 7 year old.  I am ok with the kid, not sure how the divorce stuff works.

What do you guys think? Does age matter? He seems super sweet so far....

I typically dated older men. I think that's OK....but anyone just going through a divorce isn't (most likely) going to want something serious right away (been there, done that, learned the hard way)....I personally wouldn't get involved until divorce is FINAL .....

Depends on the guy. If they are older and still single or getting a divorce I'd be asking questions...

Make sure they are actually getting a divorce before getting involved. There should be a paper trail between lawyers or court events on the county website. Or better yet, wait until the divorce is finalized and he has it signed by the judge.

Might be legit but I'd let him know you're not available till the divorce is finalized - and when he says it is, ask to see papers. Mostly bc this is a huge line guys use to get a side piece. The age is not an issue, that's only 8 years and it's way different when you're 27 than when you're 17

I'm 26 and my DH is 39. Also, he was married before and has a son from that marriage. He is the greatest man I've ever met. Go for it, and support your man during the divorce :)
