Ovulate earlier with CD3-7?

Ladies,

I was on 50mg CD5-9 last month and my doctor said I partially ovulated but it was not successful, so he upped me to 100mg this month and I chose to do CD3-7 vs CD5-9, has anyone found you ovulate sooner with CD3-7 or does your ovulation still come mid cycle?

I'm just trying to prepare for when to start my OPKs.

I had Clomid 3-7 both rounds . I use to have long cycles 32-42 days. Now I ovulate (well I get the trigger needle) on/around day 12 . And that's my peak day

I ovulated cd14 on clomid days 5-9 and cd12 when I did clomid cd3-7, so yeah mine came earlier.
