I DON'T UNDERSTAND - RANT 🙄

Charissa
I don't understand how girls are now losing their virginity at ages 11, 12, 13, or even 14. I was 16 years old when I lost mine, I don't regret it because it was with someone I truly cared about and they cared about me. Before it even happened he asked me if I wanted to back out at anytime, I could.. Yes, I was young. No, I'm not saying they are bad for losing their virginity at such a young age. But where are their parents teaching them about it? Do they know how dangerous it is? Why are we not teaching kids at a younger age about such and how badly it can turn out. In my state, the age of consent is 16. I feel like no where in the world it should be under 15. At the age of 15 you are at least in high school and most likely have had a sex education class. It's sad to see 11 year olds having sex, when I was 11 I was outside playing with nerf guns, riding bikes, and wearing not so attractive clothes.
The main point of this is, what's the point of you losing your virginity at such a young age. It's not 'cool', it never comes up in a conversation, no one cares unless you're too young to be having sex.
