Best for preventing stretch marks?

Nothing. Your can't prevent them no matter what products or how many products you buy 
1) they are hereditary 
2) it depends on your skins elasticity

Water! You need to keep hydrated on the inside, not just outside, to improve skin elasticity. That's what I've read, at least. Drink lots of water along with a lotion. I've been doing that since first tri and have no stretch marks at 37 weeks. I'm sure genetics plays a role but I also believe if your skin is hydrated on outside and inside, you can probably prevent or minimize many of them.

You can't prevent, but you can help with the severity. It's all in the genes unfortunately! I use bio oil to try and keep mine from getting too dark. It seems to help a little.

You'll have to try them all everyone's body is different. None of them worked for me and I used them my whole pregnancy and didn't think I was going to get any stretch marks then right when I was 8 months 2 weeks I started getting them ... nothing helped. I heard Maderma (sp) is highly recommended.  But it's to expensive for myself.

I've been upping my vitamin C intake with vitamins as well as yellow/orange fruits and veggies! It says it helps with the skins elasticity :)
