Any lesbian couples TTC out there?

I highly doubt that I'm the only one in this online community that is gay and trying to start a family.   Would love to know if there are others out there that are like my wife and I.

We've been trying to conceive for about a  year now, if you include all the doctor visits and tests.  We started with a fertility doctor and IUI but after two very expensive failed attempts, we decided to go with a known a donor and home inseminate.   Next week will be our second attempt at home insemination.

Anyone else in a similar situation?

My wife and I are TTC as of recently. This will be our first cycle to try. We are going with a known donor and have started Tracking my ovulation (which is very close by the way!) We have been married for two years and have two kids already, from separate circumstances and wish to share this journey together since we haven't gotten to before. We wish you luck!

Not TTC just wanted to say good luck. My wife and I did home insemination and I got pregnant on my 4th try. We now have an 11 week old baby boy. Stay strong. It's so worth it.

Not a lesbian and this may be a stupid question.... But how do you do in home insemination?

Me and my wife (married 2 years) are TTC using donor sperm from a sperm bank and doing at home insemination. Today is actually going to be our first insemination. Good luck to you!

I'm so glad I stumbled on this post! I'm not a lesbian but I am single and TTC on my own. I'm starting the IUI process (hopefully next month) I will need to use donor sperm, but just curious did insurance cover any of the iui or related costs costs for y'all? I'm wondering if home insemination may be the better route for me as well. Best of luck to you and your wife!
