CD 21 Bloodwork wrong?

Question

On first round of Clomid, progesterone was 8.72 on CD 21 Bloodwork. However, I had positive OPK tests on CD 16-19. Is it possible I ovulated but it did not show up on the blood test?

My obgyn told me that you can get a positive and not ovulate.... I found out I wasn't ovulating every month with positive test.... 😩

With my first pregnancy I ovulated on cd18 and had my 21 day progesterone test done and she said that I didn't ovulate.....2.5 weeks later I found out I was pregnant. She said sense I ovulated so close to the blood test that my progesterone didn't have enough time to rise. And that any time I get a positive opk to get a blood test 7 days from that day.

Clomid and trigger shots can give false positive OPKs. My fertility specialist told me don't both with OPKs during fertility cycles. Proper bbt charting is a much better indicator.
