Why do us females have to spend so much fuckin money on pads & tampons!?? I mean really? I went to the dollar store to purchase tampons and thin pads. So first the dollar store didn't even have all the tampon sizes! (Just started need S+) so I buy thin pads…it cost me $5.89!! 😐 then I go to krogers to buy tampons got the size I wanted…paid $8.09. Really!!!  I just can't believe that our essentials are expensive. It's not fair we didn't choose to be female & have periods. Either they need to cut down prices of that shit or the government pays for them because we can't help it we need them!! Some people can't afford pads & tampons.…it's just ridiculous 🙄

Menstrual cups are the way to go only need a couple and washing fluid and bam no more tampons or pads for the rest of your life the switch was sooooo worth it think if you spend $10 a month you're spend $120 a year on your period but if you buy one $20 cup every year that $100 goes to ice cream so we all know who the real winner is here...

There's a movement to ban tax on tampons and sanitary products for women. It makes no sense that men get free condoms in case they "feel the urge" but we have to pay for something we literally cannot avoid every month. 
Look up more about the ban and "pink tax." Anything market to or for women is almost automatically marked up but "male" products are cheaper, work better, or last longer, like razors and deodorant. This is especially the case with clothing, make up, hair/beauty care products. Even foods can be gender marketed and are.

I recently discovered target sells a 50pk of my tampons for $9. Much better than an 18pk for $4 or a 36pk for $7. Still expensive for what's basically a wad of cotton... I bet the plastic applicator and "fancy" packaging is where most of the cost goes. -_-

In the uk sanitary wear had tax on, as its deemed a luxury. Whereas items like pitta break and raisins are deemed necessary. There have been lots of debates going on recently. I switched to a menstrual cup, it was £20 inc postage, when a box of 20 tampons is £6. Saved me lots of money in the long run!

I know! The panty liners I want (I have heavy discharge and wear them daily) are frickin $9. Like, what? They're liners! That's more expensive than the pads I buy, in jumbo packs!
