IUI #2-unexplained fertility-help!

So, last Iui didn't work. Been trying 3 years now and nothing is wrong...physically. I ovulate regularly and my RE said I have the option to get a trigger shot. Should I? Or is it a waste of money? Does it help that they do an ultrasound? I feel so lost 😫
