Slapping?

My boyfriend and I got into an argument and he wasn't listening to me and just being so stubborn so I slapped him, not meaning to hurt him but to get his attention, what do you all think should I have done that? Or was it wrong, this has happened on two occasions 😕

It wouldn't be right if it was the other way around.  You could have physically and emotionally hurt him.

I don't think it's okay for women to hit men only because it's not okay for men to hit women back. And I feel like some women take advantage of the fact that a man can't do it back to them. Just think of it like this would you be okay if he was trying to tell you something and you weren't listening so he slapped you?....Lol I don't think so...

I've hit my boyfriend before when we've argued and I'm not proud of it. I don't even know why I just got so angry and lashed out. Everyone saying it wouldn't be ok the other way around is right, it isn't okay at all either way around but it happens. I just hope it never happens again 😔

No it's not okay. It's abusive. Would you slap your parents to get their attention? Your siblings? I hope not. Respect your partner or leave.

Yea it is totally ok to be physically abusive to your partner,  you would be perfectly fine with it if he did it to you as well right?

it's not okay. my boyfriends mother abuses him and I could not imagine ever doing that to him and putting him through what he does through with her. just because your a girl doesn't mean it can't cause him emotional problems.
