Lorazepam and early pregnancy
I suffer from anxiety and depression. Treated for the depression with a lowered dose now but for critical acute times I used to take one 1mg lorazepam pill that would knock me out and allow me to sleep and calm down.
I searched the Internet and got different views. Some say not only it is safe, but their caregiver prescribed it for them during pregnancy; others say not to date as it can cause defects.
I will tomorrow be 10 weeks. Haven't slept good in days, wake up several times at night and can't fall back asleep. I'm edgy, anxious. I've cut out my new source of stress but am still on my tips and toes.
