First love....

I guess it's true what they say that you never get over your first love the guy that I can't get over lives in a different country now and he has a new girlfriend but it's been a year before he started dating her.

When he moved back home we promised each other that we would always talk to each other and we did. Even dated 4 months long distance....then broke up and then a year later he found someone but I told him i cant be friends with him anymore because I still have feelings for him even though it's been like 3 years now that I haven't seen him I want to see him again and I don't think it's a good idea because I still have feelings for him and he has a gf now I told him that I think about him from time to time and today he told me that he doesn't think about it so much but he insist on still being friends with me but I can't because I get jealous everytime I think about him being with her I want to cut ties and not talk to him at all but something just keeps pulling me back to him. Some days I do good and not think about him at all. And other days my memories and even dreams drown me in the thoughts of him. I love him. If I could be with him I would. And he knows that. I just wish I could move on
