Edibles and ... Lube?

So I have made some pot infused coconut oil in my crockpot to make yummy vegan / dairy free edibles and I have some oil left over. I have heard that you can make lube out of weed but is coconut oil good for that / does it work the same as the medicated lube they sell for that purpose? I understand if this is a weird question so there won't be too many people who know the answers. Also - any tips on making edibles are greatly appreciated
