I'll be co sleeping with baby and I'm wondering if the owlet vitals monitor is necessary? 🤔

I would like to save money but if I need it then I won't think twice to buy one.

Also is your baby sleeping alone in a crib or are you co sleeping and using the monitor? I plan to sleep with the baby for 1yr. TIA 👍🏼
