Tampons..

So I'm nearly 15, and I got my period when I was 12. I have never been able to put a tampon on by myself. Everytime I'm on my period and I try to use a tampon I get really dizzy and get stressed. I can only get a little bit of the tampon inside me..(lol) & it feels very uncomfortable😬

Is this normal ? Is anyone else in the same situation? It's really starting to annoy me.
