Is it just me?

Question

I know there are loads of women who want to conceive but can't, but is it just me who doesn't want to have kids? I'm thinking that my opinion will change over time as I'm just 18 now, but I've always said I don't wanna have kids when I get older and I'm pretty sure this will not change. I have my reasons, not going to share them because I don't want to get blamed for thinking like that. 
I have a question, does anyone else feel like that?

I do want kids, (and I have kids) BUT I just wanted to say to you and anyone else, that you should never feel bad about not wanting kids. Yes, your opinion could change. But it might not and that's your choice. Tired of seeing women judge other women for every choice they make. Just because women have a uterus, doesn't mean it needs to be used.

I have a cousin who always said she never wanted kids she just turned 30 and ended up pregnant and it happy about it! You're still young things can change! And if not that's your personal choice

I think kids just aren't for some people and that's fine. Not everyone wants to be a parent. And not every one who says they don't want children changes their mind. That's your decision and your right. There's absolutely nothing wrong with not wanting babies.

My entire life I have felt very strongly that I didn't want kids. They're loud, they're messy and they send my anxiety levels into orbit. And here I am, 11 weeks pregnant. I am absolutely terrified and I don't know if I'm ready for this, but I know that if something happened to this little life inside me, it would shatter my world.

Parenthood is a choice and there isn't a wrong one. Choosing to be a parent is fine and choosing not to be is fine to. Whatever makes you happy.

I felt like that at 18. I loved being an aunt and being able to give the kids back. My opinion had changed now, I would say it changed around 23 years old. I have been with my SO for 9 years and I just knew he was the one I wanted to make a family with. I wanted that "next step".  You may change your mind or you may not and that's okay. Having children isn't for everyone and it's not like there is a shortage of humans in the world. I respect the decision of any woman who doesn't want to have children.

I'm now 23 and happily expecting my first.

It can change! But sometimes it doesn't! Only time will tell.

I didn't think I wanted kids until I hit 27 and met the right man. Before that, bringing a child into the world just seemed like something that wasn't for me. But I have friends who felt the same and still feel the same. Everyone is different!

I don't feel that way as I have always wanted kids and am pregnant with my second but it's not abnormal and your opinion may never change. There is nothing wrong with not wanting kids! They're hard work and not for everybody.

Not me but my sister has always said she doesn't want kids and everyone told her she'd change her mind as she got older. Well, she's almost 37 and still hasn't changed her mind. Kids aren't for everyone. Do whatever makes you happy:)

I voted "no", because I definitely DO want children. However, I have an older sister who has categorically stated that she does NOT want children, and I fully support her decision. If you don't want children ever, that is totally fine. If you discover that you don't want children RIGHT NOW, but reserve the right to change your mind later, that is also fine. Do what you want, and good luck.
