Should I invite my childhood friend to our wedding even though my fiancé says not to?

So I'm trying to come up with a guest list for my wedding and I've added and erased my childhood friend. Here's why.. 1. She messed around with my fiancés sisters boyfriend years before they even started dating. So my fiancés sister hates her guts. 2. She occasionally sleeps with my fiancés brother even though she knows he's in a relationship. She's my good friend and My family says I should invite her but my fiancé says I shouldn't because he doesn't want his siblings to hate him. What should I do??

If your fiance said no then respect his wishes and don't. This is half his wedding too and clearly that iteration makes him uncomfortable. I definitely would not even think about inviting them if my fiance said no.

She's a good friend?? She sounds like drama. If your new family is uncomfortable with her at the wedding you should take that into consideration. Personally, I would never surround myself with someone who acted that way and treated other people and relationships with such disrespect, but that's me. I only keep positive, forward moving mature people around.

This wedding is not about your husbands siblings though...it sounds like your husband doesn't have as much of a problem with her as his family does and he's just looking out for his family. But you guys need to make decisions based on what's best for the two of you. It is both of your wedding but he shouldn't be dictating who you can invite. And if his family loves both of you and wants the best day possible for you two, they won't start drama on YOUR day.

1) that she slept with the sisters boyfriend makes me wonder if the sister should of stuck with said guy 2) his brother fucked up in cheating the "sin" of that sits on BOTH there shoulders.  Sorry but the family being mad at just her is wrong.

Finally it isnt up to you or your fiance to make the family happy this is YOUR AND HIS day.  Honestly they should be mature enough to put shit aside (especially the brother he made his bed needs to be a man and lay in it) and deal with it for ONE day.

In the end its between you and your fiance period not him and his family.  If you want her there then he could be kind and deal with his family.  If you are really not that close and ok with her not being there then you can be kind and just not have her there.  They need to leave the drama out of it and grow up.
