CM question

Can I get some insight from you all- I'm 33 and have been TTC with baby #1 for 7 months with no luck. I was on birth control for 6 years and went off of it April 2015 (didn't start trying until August 2015). Since coming off birth control I have no CM whatsoever, a couple of times last month but nothing significant. When I mentioned it to my  Dr. when we first started trying she didn't seem too concerned. Have any of you experienced this? What did you do? How long did it take you to concieve? Thanks!
