This was actually 9 months ago but I couldn't resist to post this. Okay, So it was May 27th, me & my mom decided to walk to the store (it was right down the road) to try to maybe start some contractions (my due date was June 4th) when we were walking back I started having this super sharp pain in my right side, I didn't think it was contractions because it was consistent. I had to make my mom walk home by herself & get the truck & come get me because I was in so much pain. So, we went to my OB. They had me do a stress test & said everything looked normal. Then my doctor asked me if I wanted my son to be here tomorrow, I wasn't going to be induced but oh my gosh I couldn't say no to meeting him the next day! So, she did a membrane sweep on me & told me to go to the hospital at 12:00am to start my antibiotics because I had GBS. At around 4:00am I started having contractions that were about 10 minutes apart. So I called a nurse in to check me & I was at 4cm. At 7:00 my doctor came in, broke my water & they start me on small doses of Pitocin, they told me that they were giving me a very small dose since I was processing my self. At around 12:00 I got my epidural. Then at around 2:50 or so my nurse came in to check me & I was 10cm! 45 minutes of pushing later Aiden was here! :) He was 8lbs 9oz & 21 1/2 inches long! Can't believe that was 9 months ago. Time flys! Sorry this was so long lol. ❤️
