Birth control and acne?

Hey ladies I'm just curious.. For any of you who have taken or are currently taking the pill- did it do anything for your acne and or blemishes? I recently started taking the pill and I'm wondering if I should be "expecting" any changes or improvements on my face.. Give me your feedback and experiences! Thanks a bunch ☺️☺️

I started the pill about two weeks ago and have never broke out more in my life. It's been really hard for me in the short amount of time since I started the pill, because I used to suffer with cystic acne all of my freshman and sophomore year. Now as a senior I would have a blemish or two but notthing red and painful and all over my face. My prom is in a two or three weeks, so I'm trying  to stay optimistic you guys. I repeat, I'm trying to stay optimistic.

Acne was the reason I started birth control in the first place. It has helped me immensely to control my acne. I no longer get the really deep, cystic acne and only occasionally get a pimple. When I went off of birth control temporarily it all started coming back. I won't go off again until I'm ready for a baby! I hope it works for you too; acne really sucks!

I had acne before and it got a little worse but after like 3 months it cleared up a lot and when I stopped taking it, my face started to break out again but only at first
