Hi everyone! We have a grade 2 vericocele with 2-7% motility. The doc told us repair is only 20% likely to improve our chances to bump up to iui, but we are doing surgery because dh doesn't want to do a yearly hormone test and ultrasound that the Stanford urologist would say is necessary if he doesn't get it repaired. Unfortunately we shared some info with his siblings and when I got upset and politely asked his sister to stop when making insensitive comments she blew up calling me a slew of names, saying he should leave me and I'm the reason for all the sadness about it because I'm a miserable person. I want to know if anyone has resources to share with family members on how to handle those who are infertile. Thanks!
