My boyfriend lives with 6 people in a 3 bedroom apartment. They have really disgusting habits and are soo god damn lazy. Everything is always a complete, rotting mess and disaster, and they decide to clean about once a month. This has been a major source of frustration for my boyfriend, because he's a very clean person. It drives him to the point of insanity sometimes, and of course I hear all about it (and witness it!! 😷) He eventually bought his own set of pans and dishes because the kitchen ones were always full of rotting food in the sink for days because when they cook they don't clean anything up. Basically here's the issue, he always comes to me with all of these frustrations just to sort of rant, which I participate in because I agree. However I say "YOU NEED TO HAVE A MEETING WITH ALL OF THEM AND TELL THEM THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE" (I've said this millions of times). I also suggest that he send messages on the group chat, reminding them to clean up their messes. But he WONT do those things. He doesn't want to stir up drama so he suffers in silence around them and then I get full blown rants later. This really pisses me off, because it's now putting a stress on OUR relationship and leads to fights because he refuses to cause any drama with them. Moving out is not an option right now and it won't be for several months. I don't know what to do. It's driving me insane. Help!!
