Twins??

Question

Ok so I went to the doctor an he done a ultrasound. There were 2 sacks 1 baby he said it could be disappearing twin syndrome but there was only one baby my hole pregnancy.  It cud just be something we didn't noticed. He also said the baby might be deliver early

Chimerism generally occurs at the zygote stage. That's before any ultrasounds. It's very rare but I've always thought it was really cool!

My ex mother in Law found out she was expecting twins at a scan when she was 20+ weeks, they missed the second baby on her first scan.
My sister in law had an empty sac when she had my older niece and they said it's where she was supposed to be a twin but didn't develop, they never said anything at any of her scans tho x
