My best friend took me to get a pedicure at 2pm on Saturday and the massaging started contractions. I got home around 4pm and my water broke around 5pm. We got to the hospital around 5:30pm, I was 3.5cm dilated and my contractions were horrible because my water had broken. I got my epidural at about 6:45pm and was finally able to relax and enjoy the company that came to see me and my boyfriend. The nurse came in around 9:30pm to check how dilated I was and I was then at 5.5cm. She came back at around 11:30pm and I was 9.5 cm... Seriously went so dang fast. So my doctor was already at the hospital and came in and got everything ready and at 12:00am and I started pushing. I only pushed for an hour and a half and my little girl was born at 1:32am on Feburary 28th. The only sort of scary thing about it all was the episiotomy but I didn't feel a thing once my baby was placed on my chest. Also her daddy got to deliver her which is really special to both of us :) Anyways sorry this was so long!! Just know that not all stories are horrifying and I'm glad I could be one of the happier ones to tell lol 😊
