Benedryl??

Is it safe to take 2 benedryls (or 1?) at night to get some 💤💤💤💤?? (39weeks)

I take one Tylenol pm (Tylenol and Benadryl) to sleep every night. Really helps.

My OB actually recommended Benadryl for my itching. They are testing for cholestasis,but she said to go ahead and take Benadryl as directed on the package if needed.

I took two for a few nights, but then reduced to one, because I believe it's a category c drug. Midwives said it's fine, but I didn't want to take chances. I stopped taking it, but it really did help me sleep, which helped me become well!

Safe to take 2-- but if you can get away with taking one then just take one.

Yes 2 is fine. It's used for allergies,morning sickness, as well as migraine control in pregnant women. Also it's fine even if your high risk.

My OB said 50mg which is 2 of the pink ones. My allergies were horrid this past fall to the point I was going through tons of clothes from sneezing and peeing myself!!

When I had a severe allergic reaction I took one to see if my hives would go down and it didn't so I googled how many mg pregnant women are allowed to take. I forget what the exact amount was but it was safe for me to take another half to see if that would help which it finally did.

I take 4. My system is resilient to it and unisom.

I would only take one but it is a safe medicine during pregnancy. They had me taking it to sleep when my "morning" sickness was bad.
