I'm a school teacher and I just found out that we get 12 weeks maternity leave but NO pay.  This is my first pregnancy so I'm new to this, but  I was under the impression that I would at least get a percentage of my pay while on leave.  My husband and I are so disappointed.  It's a shame that we don't have laws protecting us against this.  We are on a strict budget now and trying to save like crazy!
