Hi ladies, I wonder if any of you can help me on this - on Monday I was 27+5 having a normal uneventful morning at work and I thought I felt my waters break but it was actually a gush of fresh red blood. Tried to remain calm as I rushed to L&D, after two days of monitoring and tests the bleeding had subsided and baby seems fine and oblivious thank goodness, the diagnosis based on the ultrasound was a partial placenta abruption. Does anyone have any experience with this? Google is frightening me lol! Did it return? Were you put on pelvic rest or bed rest? My Dr says in his experience it's likely to happen again and although I've been allowed home I'm being closely monitored by the hospital and will likely need to deliver before my due date
