I'm 10 weeks pregnant and called to set up an appointment with a new doctor the day after I got a positive test at like 4 weeks 3 days. They had me go get labs done, called and confirmed my pregnancy, then set up my first appointment for 5 weeks later. I finally get to go in tomorrow to get an ultrasound and meet my doctor for the first time. Is it unusual to wait this long for the first appointment? With my other 2 pregnancies I remember going in at 5 or 6 weeks for my first ultrasound. But I'm in a different city now, so maybe they do things differently. Anyone else had to wait this long?
