Early pregnancy spotting?!

Hey all. I'm in the early start of pregnancy. No idea how far I am as I haven't had my first appt yet. It's on the 23rd of this month. I went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was a very light pink color, obviously blood. Should I be worried? My obgyn is closed. Should I go to the er?!

I had my first period after I was pregnant, like they say "spotting" can happen but it was only barely light, certainly not enough that I thought I was pregnant. It was fine, baby was born beautiful, healthy and perfect. My doctor was not concerned in the slightest, it is common to have spotting in the beginning.

If that's all you have is a tiny bit of pink you should be OK if you start heavy bleeding or cramping really bad then definitely go to the er

If you don't have any idea how far along you are, just wait. There's nothing the ER can do at this point. You could also call your OBGYN off hours answering service. They'll probably tell you to wait and try to relax.
