If the manufacture date is 9\2013, would it be okay to use for my baby being born in June??

Make sure it hasn't be recalled and you should be able to look up the exportation date as well. Most have a 7 year life span.

Also check into Car seat for the Littles on fb. They can advise if the coarsest is recommended and typically fits a newborn well.  The key is the straps NEED to be routed from below the shoulders. Do not use an aftermarket products in the car seat as well.

I've been told to go with new carseats because its not safe using one your dont know anything about or even if its expired and 2013 is a long time ago in car seat years i feel...or at least once manufactured last yr even...but deff check for recalls and such.

If you know the person then take it for sure if it's not expired.

I don't think there would be anything wrong with using it. I think most car seat expire 5 years after the manufacture date.
