Accidentally planned pregnancy

I mean... People can't seriously be that clumsy with birth control!! I'm desperate for a baby, my fiancé and I are in good jobs and I own my home but I feel we would still struggle to have a life if we got pregnant now even though I know we wouldn't begrudge it at all. We have talked about trying in a year or so and even though I know that's sensible, I have to really excercise self control sometimes and stop myself telling him I want to come off the pill now! Despite all that, I don't think I could ever stop taking it without him knowing! What do you guys think? Do people do this??
