Can dogs sense pregnancy?

This might be totally silly, but...

My dog is super spoiled and has always slept on the bed with us, but for the past few weeks, he has wanted to sleep by himself in the living room and seems to be more independent. Is it possible he senses my pregnancy and is pouting that he will no longer be an only "child?"
